Volunteers as counsellors
Action for Change uses the services of over 40 people as volunteer counsellors. We recruit people through the local newspapers, and operate an open and competitive process for recruitment. Our volunteer counsellors are a broad mix of individuals who reflect the communities in which they live. They come from all walks of life, and many have limited or no previous counselling knowledge.
